Poor Dragon

 

We were walking with the CAT students between Old Town Prague and the Jewish Quarter. I looked up and saw this statue of St. George and the dragon. Statues of St. George and the dragon pop up all over the Czech Republic. Naturally, the dragon is always about to be done away with. It is enough to make a person feel sorry for the dragon.

We had walked up the Sarka Valley and on the way back to IBTs we saw  the beauty of the setting sun shining into the clouds. I quickly walked to our  room, got my camera and took several pictures.

We ate a good breakfast with Joann, Rob, Brittany and Jerry. They were on their way to New Jersey for a week of well deserved rest. B just graduate, having earned her masters degree. Also they just closed on a house. Busy time for a smart young couple.
