We stopped at the public library on our way home, returning several items and checking out two books and several books on CD.

Friday January 19th, 2009 - Weems Creek Frozen Over

Ice on Weems Creek.

We are having a cold winter. For the first time in many years Weems Creek is frozen completely over.

We took the car to Koons Toyoto to have the window fixed. There was a recall because there has been a problem of the passenger side window falling open. There was no cost for the repair.

January 6th, 2009 Doris and Nancy

We went to AAMC this morning to work in the medical library. Doris always works there in Tuesdays. We got a lot done, gathering the periodicals together so they can be sent to the bindery.

Nancy and Kathleen were standing in the street talking, so I went out and took their picture. I had not seen Kathleen since I arrived home Saturday from Prague.

It was a cold morning and some snow had fallen during the night. Fortunately the roads to the airport had been iced and were clear. The side streets were slick.

This is the British Air plane that flew me from Prague to Heathrow. At Heathrow I had a two and a half hour wait for the plane on to Baltimore

In the evening I walked to G building to visit with the CAT students. Mona, an Arab Christian who lives in Israel has claimed me as her IBTS grandfather.
